Motorbike insurance & plate change

Hi all , next month I'm bringing my motorcycle over for good , I'm going to get ( her ) changed from English reg to spannish reg , ( need help with that if you can recommend anyone pls ) , but just asking if I can insure an English reg bike thru a spannish insurance company , as I've just had my English renual note come thru and the insurance runs our a few weeks before I'm shipping her over , so as I won't be riding in the uk anymore ,it's not worth insuring is it ? Hope this makes sense to you all, and your comments would be appreciated thanks glynn

Insurance no problem , Liberty Seguros , and use an agent like Beneficial [ cheaper than most brokers ]. Most policies have a fixed price , the skill is in what and how much commission the agent is prepared to give away to give you a discount ..!

I would recommend Amanda, very efficient and reasonable cost, I don't know what make your bike is or what age, but ensure it has an E in the chassis number, or you may find it difficult to re register here, it must conform to E.U. homologation. good luck.

Hi yes what roadrat is saying if it were an import to the uk from say America the cost of registering here would be Prohibitive this goes for cars as well!

Good point and that's kicked my new V8 Mustang into touch.
