CAR INSURANCE

Hi Everyone

We moved to Spain 12 months ago and I bought a car as soon as we got here. The insurance premium was 391 euros twelve months ago and I paid it without getting any alternative quotes. The renewal email has just arrived and this year's premium us 409 euros.

Before I renew I thought that I would check out whether this is competitive or not. I am 56 years old with a clean licence and full no claims discount. My car is quite sensible (petrol driven 2.0l Mazda Tribute).

Does anyone think that 409 euros is a reasonable premium for someone like me? Alternatively. can anyone recommend a low cost car insurer out here so that I can approach them for a full quote?

Many Thanks

Sam

Excellent brokers next to Yorkshire linens. I was with linear directa, they have been awful and very expensive. Cheaper offer now thro brokers.

Yes Sam i think the post above refers to Spanish Inurance i am with them and find them very reasonable, they also have a couple of very good english or good english speaking girls there.if you type in Spanish Insurance in google get the website and im sure you can fill in a form and get a quote from them or call in 2 doors along from yorkshire linen.

Go and see Donna at Right move Insurance next to the Chop Shop Butchers. I have my cars, home, and dog insured with them. Have always had mixed reports about other insurance companies over here ie Linea Directa, Mapfre, Generali etc apart from that she's English and any problems she'll always help no problem.

Good Luck
