Car Insurance Abbeygate

Just insured UK car with Abbeygate, when they asked if i had a quote from any other company I said yes and they dropped their price from 442 Euro to 360 Euro.
Also just to confirm, they are a UK company and the same day the car was registered as insured on th Uk Gov website

they are owned by Wyedean Insurance Serivices Ltd based in Ross-on-Wye UK

I know who owns Abbeygate I asked who is insuring your car the Insurance Company like maybe Lloyds of London or another one the name will be on your policy docs

I use Abbygate and it's Tradewise Insurance Company Ltd.

How long does it insure your car in Spain,if you are a resident I think you should be chacking the law on that one

Tradewise Insurance company is registered in Gibralter not UK and has a minimum excess of 250 Euros

Tradewise is an insurance underwriter, Abbeygate is a UK firm as mentioned before.

In answer to the above points, I have now received a written confimation that the insurance is valid whether you are a Spanish resident or not. Also the insurance is valid for 12 months. My excess is £200.

Make sure the car is taken out of Spain after 183 days as will not be legal after that
