Yes bluesman, I think the point is most ordinary policies have a limit on how many days the property can be left unoccupied at any one time. E.g. 30 or 60 days so some additional premium or different policy may be needed if you spend more than that time away. That's what the OP was asking about.

I think you'll find they only do 120 days max. I had great difficulty trying to find a company who would insure for more than 120 days.
