Is anyone currently using this company please? Would appreciate hearing about your experiences.
We are currently insured with Caser and they have been great but ASSA are advertising no premium increases due to age and this sounds appealing as we've got another 10 years to go before we can get our S1s.

That’s clearly a paid for advert Alex has posted. I have previously recommended ASSSA on this forum in the past but we have just cancelled our ASSSA health policies after 8 years due to a few recent very bad experiences. Unfortunately too lengthy to scribe here.

Heard good things about CASER so maybe think again and investigate levels of cover fully before switching.

We have been with ASSSA for over 20 years, my wife hasn't renewed hers this year due to obtaining her S1, i have continued for another year due to ongoing treatment.
We have mixed feelings really, in the early years they & Quiron were very good but standards seem to have slipped recently. Also, several years ago i had an operation after which the dressing required changing daily then weekly for quite a while after. Imagine my surprise when my premium increased by 25% the following year. On questioning the increase i was told it was because i had too many appointments during the past year. One other point i will mention, i don't know if it is standard amongst all companies but you cannot cancel mid-way through a year, you are commited to them from January to December.
All in all after hearing about Caser i think i would stick with them rather than change.
Regards,
Dave.

Yes the premium is for the full 12 months cover even if you pay monthly you still have to pay the full 12 months regardless of any wish to cancel.

As said previously, I have previously recommended ASSSA on this forum but our recent experiences have proved very disappointing, bordering on traumatic!

Thank you, your replies have been so helpful. Think we'll stay with Caser!
