hi all

my wife is coming out with my son, his girlfriend and our 2 granchildren in may. normally it isn`t a problem getting picked up/taken back by friends etc or if it`s for a short stay with just 2+ of us i hire a car but, because there will be 3 adults and 2 children we are stuck for room.

does anyone know of a local taxi company who use 7 seaters or a minibus where the price is reasonable? i have contacted quesada taxis but he will only take 4 passengers and told us we need 2 cabs making the cost of the whole return trip 168 euro.

we will of course need 1 infant/baby seat and a booster seat for the children. (bit of a pain really as i have both of these in my car at my villa).

can anyone help out

I always use airportrunsRus based in Guardamar(I think) they have mercedes vito vans that can accommodate up to 8 people and will supply baby seats/boosters on request.

thanks for the info guys. yes, i found the phone number for airportrunsrus and they quoted me 55euro each way which i think is very reasonable indeed.
i am still thinking of parking my car at the airport though, using eco car parking for 250 euro a year with unlimited pickups. my neighbour has used them for about 2 years now and finds their service great. i was just worried about what happens if they go bust and would it affect the cost of my car insurance.
has anyone on here used them and what do you think?

With regard to a 7 seater taxi for airport transfers we use OP group its an estate agent based on La Finca Golf They do an excellent service. They also do car hire. We use them all the time. If you have there car hire they meet you at the Airport drive you to your accomodation and your cars waiting for you there save all the waiting and stress at the Airport
