Talk Quesada forum

Hi guys. I have a place in Lo Marabu which is a long walk from the main street to the taxi rank. Therefore, we are limited to the same couple of bars and I love the WOK Buffet but there's only so much Chinese a girl can eat:)

Is there a taxi number that we can call (like a mini cab) that would do short runs, say to a bar/restaurant on Dona Pepa and then call the same number to pick us up and take us home later that night?

I'd love to try some places up near the golf course but it would be too far to walk back late at night.


How do the rest of you get around at night?

We have a similar dilemma,yes the WOK is good but we all need variety,on occasion we have ordered a taxi from Spanglish to go "local"
the bars seem to have the local knowledge for a quick taxi,and its an easy wait drink in hand.

We're up from the Golf Course & our neighbour does holiday lets & a couple that was in last year didn't have a car & used the local taxi's on a few occassions in & around Quesada & if I remember correctly they charged her around €5 - €8.00

From Carrefour to Quesada it will cost about 18 to 20 euros depending where in Quesada you are..

We use a local taxi who is happy to take us on short journeys..Miguel.. Taxi number 3, on 608 335 453.. Miguel lives in Rojales and often does us runs for 5 or 6 euros.. They are a father and son combo... Young Miguel speaks pretty good English, dad not so much but both will sort you out..

All the Quesada Taxi's may do that run. You could email or phone them for a price.

As you are coming from Carrefour you may be better phoning a Torrevieja Taxi to pick you up : These are the numbers given out by the official Torrevieja Tourist Office:
