Pets in Spain

although pets in Spain have their 2 shops in la Marina, there are many people who have fostered or adopted animals in Quesada. The chairman has asked me to make this post asking if any current, future or general pet owners and supporters would attend some fund raising activities in the Quesada area. We are thinking of garden parties, dinners, quiz eTc. We held a very successful dinner and cabaret night in October and would like to expand on this. There are several venues happy to help. If you are at all interested in supporting pets in Spain locally, please message me and if we can get at least half a dozen people on board, then I am happy to plan a few events. May I suggest that you message me first and then we could all meet up and have a friendly chat in Quesada and take it from there. Thank you. Mike

Hi, I see that there are no open forum replies to Mike's request for fund-raising for animals in this area. Is Cuidad Quesada animal/pet-friendly or not? I ask because I'm thinking of moving there (from France) and have a large, very friendly dog. I haven't yet visited the area but have been interested in it for some years. I'll be visiting in the next few weeks to look at properties, so will find out more then, but meanwhile, would like some views of residents as to whether or not it is appropriate for dogs. Also, although my dog is very friendly, he could do with a little more training, so would be interested to know if there are any dog training classes. This is very important to me, so I would very much appreciate any opinions and information. Thank you, in anticipation!!
