My little Pug.

This thread is probably in the wrong section but I can't find one more relevant. We had a lovely little pug dog called Bella that had a beautiful nature and a great personality.
She used to follow me everywhere, she thought that I was her boyfriend and wouldn't leave me alone.
Yesterday at 2pm she had a massive epileptic fit so we rushed her to the vet.
But the bloody vet was shut for siesta !
We then rushed her to two more vets both of which were closed for siesta.
By the time a vet reopened she was dead.
I'm distraught and spitting blood - why the hell do vets have a siesta, doctors don't.
None of them even had an emergency phone number outside.

Not a nice experience at all but there are plenty 24 hour vets around but you would have had to Google it if you didn't know. Maybe now people with pets should check it out and take note of numbers incase the same thing happens to their loved pet.

I just thank God that our vet we have been using for 16 years doesnt have a siesta and do have an emergency number. I've needed them a couple of times in urgent cases. Really feel for you in what must have been a terrible and distressing time.
