I understand how you feel, and I hope it didn't come across as a crude recruitment offer, but we are already established and doing the sort of thing you say you desire. If you would like to meet up and talk about it I'm very willing. We are a friendly group who also socialise outside of the singing. no one in group has to audition, and is just allowed to find their level, and I'm always willing to give help and pointers, I also don't charge for my services, as happens in some groups I know.
You say you have no one to lead you, so if that remains the case, please consider our offer.

Hi Sorry no we could not get enough interest. Such a shame as we are sure once people try it they would like it. We miss it so much but will not join choirs that sing music we don't want to sing, as then it is not enjoyable. Some choirs although technically fantastic, just sing old fashioned songs and this is not for us. That's why we wanted to try and get one started. Also we could not find a musical director to lead the choir. So we have given up. Thanks for your interest, shame there are not a few more people like you.

Oh, I am so disappointed, as I thought upon reading one of your messages that you had 14 people interested. It is getting a good leader (Choir Master) that is difficult here. I see many choirs asking for the same and they reach stalemate. Please don´t give up on the idea - it is a good one - and who knows someone may suddenly appear - remain positive at al times. All the best, and keep me posted. In the meantime, I will look out for someone.

We are 4 ladies from Algorfa and we love to sing! Did you ever get your group off the ground? We have two really good singers, two who just love to sing, and two men - one keyboard player and one guitarist. We would love to join in/get something going.

I was do disappointed it wasn't able to get off the ground last time and have been looking out for a choir master since but to no avail. Please keep me in the loop. There must be someone out there who could help.
