Posted: Sat Feb 17, 2018 2:20 pmACTS are in full swing with their rehearsals of Duets by Peter Quilter. This play is a beautifully written quartet of romantic comedies streaked with pathos. Jonathon and Wendy are on a blind date and hoping to find the right one at last. Barrie isn´t really interested in women but Janet keeps trying. Shelley and Bobbie holiday in Spain and drown in cocktails whilst finalising their divorce and Angela is marrying for the third time whilst her brother calls her dress a parachute amidst a barage of bad omens. Four sets of characters and four sets of crucial moments I am sure we can all relate to. This quartet of comedies is being performed on Thursday 8th, Friday 9th and Saturday 10th March at Benijofar Cultural Centre.
