Please can someone tell us our rights on this we have a hedge between the Spanish guy and us and he is threatening us with court action if we don't cut his side down he has a field and we are going to get it done. Our neighbours on the other side over heard him and said they will threaten us with court action if we don't cut theirs although the previous owners told us we do have to cut the Spanish mans has he has a field but not the other side. They have always cut it. We are peaceful neighbours but haven't got loads of money

Rather than get differing opinions on this I would consult a Solicitor. Sometimes people try it on. Best to find out the Law regarding dividing hedges.
