To be careful

Noticed whilst walking down Calle Costa de Las Rocas next to Aqua park in Ciudad Quesada that there are Caterpillar cocoons on the pine trees.

Well, the cocoons are in the trees from beginning of December. However, they need to grow before leaving the nest. It is not impossible for them to leave the nest already but probably not until 1-2 months from now. Better safe than sorry, true! But if dogs are kept on a leash, as they should, and with the owner actually paying attention to what the dog is doing and where it is at all times chances are that they won't get lost and won't eat poisonous larvae. I have learnt the hard way, although lucky and dog ok, to be aware at all times what my pets are doing.
