Hi all,
I have just moved into a ground floor apartment and have found several small, earwig shape and size insects on the floor. They are fast moving, but luckily I'm quicker! Can anyone tell me what they are and how to eliminate them?

If they are pale in colour, they could be silverfish

Not sure what colour and I squashed immediately. I thought they were a little like small caterpillars, but they move to quickly
