What’s all the digging up for down there any one know anything?

Where exactly are the roadworks?

They were digging trenches last Tuesday as we left apparently they have been filled in then - thank you for the update- I thought that maybe it was something to do with the rumours about another hotel going to be built down there .

I seen them on Friday laying a very large electrical mains cable into the trenches and back filling with concrete the size of the cable would indicate to me there's going to be quite a large building going up soon.

I thought it looked like electric cable but I asked at lunchtime in El Pirata bar and they said it was gas pipes

Correct TonyTri,Gas pipes it was,all backfilled now but not sure if going around the back.

Gas pipes sounds promising hope they expand to the nearby streets too

It wasn't a gas pipe I can assure you of that I know the difference between gas and electric, gas pipe is hollow an electric has got other cables inside same as what they have put in the ground around the car park so watch this space folks.

Maybe putting both in at the same time, i live near there and was told it was gas,makes sense does it not. then the water will come along.lol
