Have you tried looking on the tinterweb thingy, and looking for cat repellent devices? there was a device a couple of years ago that was motion activated and shot a blast of air out when a cat came near to it, it wasn't that expensive, but unfortunately I can't remember what it was called, Oh and it was battery operated, so no need to worry about wiring. PS, might be an idea to try the American pet sites, as it was an American import.

Has anyone from you an idea, which torture it is for an animal, to get pepper in the nose and in the eyes after cleaning themselve with pepper on their paws??? Sorry but I canĀ“t understand you. These animal are not doing things like this to annoy you. The reason is, that they have nearly no natural areas anymore around, because we humans build here more than enough houses.

I guess, that you have never seen a paralised cat or dog which somebody hurt by shooting with pellets. When this would be the case, you would hopefully not even think about it.

Have you tried to keep a Cat in at night?? Good luck to you. They are hunters and like to roam for miles and miles (have you not seen the documentary on cats??). Please do not shoot them with a pellet gun otherwise you are as bad as the awful people that poison them!

In this ecological world we now live in perhaps the owners should charge you for the free manure.. people have been spreading manure on crops for thousands of years to make them grow well...

Stop carping and be thankful for getting something for nothing..

well yes all for composting and recyling but what you dont seem to know is........ quote from google search...
Common composting advice (and I've given the same advice on this site, several times) warns against composting dog and cat feces. And there's a good reason for that: cats and dogs, being omnivores, produce waste that harbors harmful bacteria, things that would make us sick if our food were to come into close contact with it. If you are composting with the intention of using that compost anywhere near edible crops, do not compost dog and cat waste.

nice try though.

We have the same problem and have tried EVERYTHING.
we currently have water bottles all over our furniture, so far it seems to have deterred them from using our garden as a litter tray. GOOD LUCK
