Are there any dog sitters or kennels that still have space over the Christmas period. I have 2 small dogs that need looking after. Date flexible as I dont want to book flights until I have the dogs sorted but it will be about 10 days 20th to 30 December. Thank you

Try park and bark, they run a dog boarding business, and keep smaller dogs inside their home with their dogs.
They also keep your car at their house and take you and pick you up from the airport on return, which can be very useful. Hence the name park and bark.

I phoned...chap does sound lovely but he didn't have space. I know this sounds like its my own fault for leaving it so late but the person I had arranged care with just told me yesterday that they are now going back to UK for Christmas...as the day goes on I am resigned to spending Xmas day with just me and the dogs!

And what could be nicer for you all

Try Domino Dog Kennels in Elche/La Marina I was really reluctant to put my dog into kennels as I am not keen on them. However, Jennifer is great and Claus remains on site at all times so the never left on their own. Kennels are big and heated and they have lots of blankets to keep them warm.

They will even do a pick up and drop back service if it suits.

Both Amber Lodge and Dominos are closed now so was only able to leave an answerphone message. Thank you for the suggestions.
