There are dog poo bins there but judging by the dog poo on the pavements nobody ever uses them

We live opposite the area, there are dog poo bins at the entrance together with poo bags.Although there is. A notice that says dogs should be kept on leads the majority are not, they run free, would I think depend how your dog is with other dogs I’d you don’t mind other dogs in the same area. I worry about the herbicides they were spraying on there.
