Talk Quesada forum

Hi all,

I´m looking for viewpoints on the pueblo of Heredades near Formentera de Segura please.

If you live there or you are familiar with the village then your comments would be appreciated.

I currently live in Quesada but I am exploring some of the local towns and villages with a view to possibly moving next year.

Lovely little village surrounded by countryside. Not sure if there is a bus service. I doubt it. Typically Spanish area.

Hi, we have been living in Heredades since January 2020. It is a typical Spanish village but there also a number of ex pats living here too. It is a nice community and generally everyone gets on well. It is a pretty village and more rural. There is a bus service but it is a very limited one. There is a large community pool. Quite a few of the ex pats live down the bottom end of the village in the town houses. There is only one bar in the village and there is a cafe type place too. On the main road into the village there is another bar; they are all Spanish owned. There are a group of men that go out regularly cycling every week if that is something that interests you. It is a quiet area and if you have access to a vehicle then this will make a difference. In the village there is also a butchers/small supermarket and a tobacco shop. Most of the Spanish people living in the village are pleasant and interact well with the ex pats. Michelle

My thanks to those who commented or sent me a pm, your inputs were most helpful. I popped over to Heradades this evening for the last event of their fiesta week, watched the village band, chatted with a few people and grabbed a small beer at the resturant. The village has a good feel, I like it.
