Moving to Quesada

Hola,

I have been reading this forum with great interest. My husband and I decided to retire to Spain. I am finally retiring in March next year and cannot wait. Hubby is already retired.
Was out for two weeks holiday at beginning of August and guess what, we have just bought our new "forever" house in Quesada. I have scoured this forum for every possible question and answer about moving out to Spain and it is fantastic. Great advice from everyone. Our house is a brand new house so at the moment it is still a plot of land and we are in the middle of sorting out the plans. So it will be May before our house is finished but so looking forward to being out there. Took a walk around some of the areas and we liked what we saw. We have bought in an area called Atalaya Park. So no doubt I will be in touch nearer the time if I require any further information from this wonderful forum. Adios for now. Lorna

:text-welcomewave: and good luck with your new build.

Any questions, just ask on here - Most of us have been there and done that and should have some good help, tips and advice.

Look forward to seeing you on the forum.

Hi Lorna G. Wonder if we will be neighbours? We are on Atalaya Park and they are building new properties just over the road from us.If there is an electricity pylon with an orange ball on it nearby then we will be neighbours! Good luck with your move. Paul & Yvonne.

Hi , lorna , I was Just wondering if perhaps you are going down the route we are considering and how it's going . We already have a holiday home there but recently been looking to move. I saw an advert about land and new build houses and was introduced to justo quesada via masa. We have been offered plots and a variety of house options. Is that your route ? Is it going smoothly and would you recommend it

Hi Joy arise, it looks like we are going down same route. We went with Masa to a few different builders and justo quesada was one of them. Showed us various different house styles and plots and we picked the plot and house style. We are now waiting on architects plans coming through which will hopefully be some time next week. Justo Quesado were really nice and we have been in touch with them quite a few times to change the
Layout of the house etc. Maria will be sick of hearing from us. Building will not start until beginning of next year. Have you picked anything yet.

We are on the corner of calle Rio Mino and calle Rio Ebro. Pink coloured villa. We are guessing that you will be on the corner of calle Rio Ebro and calle Rio Llobregat across the road from the park? Glad to hear the pylon is coming down! We are out again in October and then Christmas. Look forward to meeting you! We only moved on July 1st having been on Avenida del Aeropuerto for the last 7 years. Love our new villa. Like the area as it is so peaceful. Paul.

I think we will be on those roads. Do you not stay there full time. We will be moving over there permanently. Glad it is very peaceful although the empty plots across the road from us, not the park side will be getting built on after all our plots have been sold. Could be a while before that happens. The park is getting done up as well so we have been told. So looking forward to moving out there.

We were out for three weeks in July, and have just returned from an extended August bank holiday trip last Tuesday. Back out for 10 days in October....then all over xmas and New Year. Will be out for nearly 10 weeks next year with the permanent move out late summer 2018 when I retire. Although not wanting to wish my life away, can't wait to make the move permanent!! When are you next out and we could meet up? Cheers Paul & Yvonne
