Hi everyone,
Myself and my husband have finally decided that we are going to make the move most probably in 18 months time. We have a 10 year old daughter who will be moving with us and a 19 year old son who will be staying here
I have so many questions so will go and look around the forum.
Would be good to speak to you all and find out how you are all getting on living the dream!!

Hi there,my daughter was about ten years old when we moved here.We dont live in Quesada but i may be able to answer a few questions regarding schooling if you have any.

I live on Entre Naranjos which is outside of Quesada on road to San Miguel. As a fellow Scot I can say there are a number of Scots around the area Happy to help if I can

Hi Magoo, As my daughter E will be 11 and going in to the high school, would you say that she is to old to be integrated in to a Spanish school? We start Spanish lessons this Saturday and she knows some already (just a few words and numbers). I saw there was an international school called Phoenix which looked ok. But obviously fees are a lot on our limited budget.

Ha and there we are relaxing in the 30s

Everyone on this forum are generally helpful and you'll find loads of info on here so don't be afraid to ask if you can't find what you're looking for, someone will know the answer.
I found this site a great place to do research months prior to coming to Spain.
Also if I can help at all you can PM me here or swap e mails via a PM it's never a good idea to post personal details on any open forum

I am from Glasgow have a house in Quesada and love it, had it 9 years now its hard think were all the years have gone it was the best move we ever made and in a couple of years I am looking to retire cant wait but will be out on the 27 for 5 days then out for 24 days july august back out n October for 12 days we always make the most of our time
