Hello, from potential Lo Crispin newbies...

Hello,
We have been holidaying in Torrevieja 3/4 times per year for 15 years. We dislike the summer chaos, traffic, madness of Torrevieja but love the walking accessibility to beaches, supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
We are thinking of buying on Lo Crispin, basically because we love the house, the price and it's facilities but worry that we can't easily walk to Spanish bars and restaurants. We know there are 2 bar/ restaurants on the urbanisation but wonder if anyone can advise how feasible it is to walk for a meal/ drink to Benijofar, Los Montisinos or Quesada and advise on routes.

Thanks

I live on Lo Crispin and love the urbanisation, I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed if you buy here. The Tavern on Lo Crispin is really the hub of the community with so much going on zumba, golf, walking football and entertainment every weekend. We do walk to Quesada for a meal/drinks occasionally and it takes us approx 35 mins but that's a stroll not an energetic walk. There is a walkway which runs from the Urb alongside the dual carriageway To Quesada.
To walk to Benijofar would take much longer but only 5 mins in the car.

Thanks very much, the Estate agent told us Benijofar would be a 20 min walk but looking on google maps it looks around 50 mins. Thanks again for the response.

I would suggest your friends change estate agents as I know of two sales in the past month which sold very quickly after being put up for sale.

I've heard a lot of people say they wish they had not bought there. Facilities are so limited it is hard to sell houses. My advice would be to rent for 6 months and see how you like it before buying.

I wouldn't live on Lo Crispin without Transport if you like to get out and about. Some people are quite happy to potter around at home most days but not my cup of tea. The road to Benijofar has no pavements so not a nice walk. If you can get to Monte Azul you can walk to Quesada from there as well as along the other road already mentioned.
