hi there. My husband and I are retiring to Queseda in January. We have an apartment and have been lucky enough to meet a couple of our neighbours who are helping us with getting things ready for our move. Very exciting. We have a busy social life at the moment in the UK and are looking for something similar. Love soul music of all types, 60, 70’s - pretty much all music. Hubby plays golf. I do handcraft cards etc as my hobby. Just as a couple of the things we do but we are young at heart and want to get involved in the community. We love live music nights, and are open to trying ‘most’ things so would appreciate it if anyone there has info on social clubs, swimming clubs, dance, pretty much anything that we could join. Looking forward to meeting new people when we move.

There are tons of clubs and interest to join in to.. Music all over the place, lots of golf around..when you arrive look at some of the free papers and you will see there are lots to do...but I am sure you will not have enough time...

Hi there, you are looking for something new to do, dance was one of your suggestions. Not far from Quesada by car towards Torrevieja, about ten minutes from the Arches in Quesada. We are a friendly bunch of people and would love to have you join with us. Best wishes,

Dancing - Ballroom, Latin, Sequence and Argentine Tango

Wednesday - Classes - Ballroom, Latin and Argentine Tango

New Beginners Class 11am – 12pm
Intermediate Class 12pm – 13.00pm

Sequence Dance Class Friday 7pm - 7.45pm.
Social Dance - Ballroom, Latin and Sequence 8pm - 10.30pm ;

All the above are held at El Paraiso Restaurant, Urbanisation Jardin del Mar, Torrevieja [near McDonalds and Carrefour]

Never danced before, not a problem, come along 11am Wednesday mornings and have a go, it is fun and you will meet like minded people. You will be surprised at how quickly you are dancing.

There's a bowls club in Quesada, they run free lessons on a Saturday and Tuesday morning, give it a try, very sociable. Also a drama club in Benijofer, also great fun and very sociable.
