I’m a 53 yr old male who’s just arrived and staying in Doña Pepa , interest sports and socialising, I was if there any like minded people out there .

Consider "bowls," its sort of a sport and certainly social. There are open mornings on Saturdays and Tuesdays starting at 9.30 for 10 start. Lessons are free, all welcome, hire of equipment available for 7 Euros @ Quesada bowls club.

Aré you interested in Spanish lessons? Good fun and a bit of the lingo certainly helps. There are lots of classes advertised on here and on Facebook.

Sport.In at Torrevieja and Punta Prima is a great gym with lots of classes......body combat, xtromba, zumba, boxing, etc! You get 2 gyms for the price of one. I enjoy it! Good luck, Ann

Hi, Wellcome to sunny Spain. Socialising you say - you may well want to try some new clubs, apart from sport, here goes - a nice way of meeting people:

Dancing - Ballroom, Latin, Sequence and Argentine Tango

Wednesday - Classes - Ballroom, Latin and Argentine Tango
New Beginners Class 11am – 12pm
Intermediate Class 12pm – 13.00pm

Sequence Dance Class Friday 7pm - 7.45pm.
Social Dance - Ballroom, Latin and Sequence 8pm - 10.30pm ;

All the above are held at El Paraiso Restaurant, Urbanisation Jardin del Mar, Torrevieja [near McDonalds and Carrefour]

Never danced before, not a problem, come along 11am Wednesday mornings and have a go, it is fun and you will meet like minded people. You will be surprised at how quickly you are dancing.
