hi, my husband and I are hoping to move to the Quesada area in the new year. At the moment we live in the mountains 30 minutes north of Alicante, and have done for the past 15 years. We now think it is time to size down with the property and get to have a bit of fun. Obviously, we are hoping to make new friends and learn of new places to eat out. Any recommendations of where to meet new people on a regular basis?

The bowls club in Quesada is a great place to meet new people. They do social bowling for beginners on a Saturday and Tuesday morning, free lessons just 7 Euros to rent the equipment, great fun and very social.

Thanks Tony& Angie. We might just do that. We’ve always thought about bowling, but there isn’t anything close to us up here. Now we are moving, we will have more choices close by. Are you connected to the bowls club? If so , hopefully, we’ll meet you there one day. X

You could meet new friends at:

Dancing - Ballroom, Latin, Sequence and Argentine Tango

Wednesday - Classes - Ballroom, Latin and Argentine Tango

New Beginners Class 11am – 12pm
Intermediate Class 12pm – 13.00pm

Sequence Dance Class Friday 7pm - 7.45pm.
Social Dance - Ballroom, Latin and Sequence 8pm - 10.30pm ;

All the above are held at El Paraiso Restaurant, Urbanisation Jardin del Mar, Torrevieja [near McDonalds and Carrefour]

Never danced before, not a problem, come along 11am Wednesday mornings and have a go, it is fun and you will meet like minded people. You will be surprised at how quickly you are dancing.
