Me and my husband are thinking to live in Quesada in the near future. We are at the point to buy a house. At the last moment we discovered a new kart track and are worried about the noise.
It is closed because of covid. We are now so hesitating. I am interested what the community thinks about that project nearby green areas. I live in The Netherlands and Quesada would be for permanent living.
Thanks for any respons.
Best regards
Jacqueline

The Go Kart track is situated on the main CV905 and has not yet opened . It has been under construction since 2019. Land either side is agricultural and on the opposite side of the dual carriageway are shops and houses. I’m sure if you were looking at properties in that area, you would have already taken into account the noise from the road.

Thank you very much for reaction. Indeed we have listend to the noise from the road if we could hear anything in the appartment. That was not the case. Neither when the windows were open.
We love the appartment so much beause it has an elevator up to the roof. We understood that it is quite unique.
So all is perfect only that kart track.
Thanks again
Jacqueline

You beat me to it, I was wondering where the property is.
Can only think of the new builds opposite Quesada Market but that’s a fair distance away.

The area is a tourist area, you have got to expect these types of activities, if you are worried about noise I should go in land.

Gosh from where you are to the Go kart site is over a kilometre away
As I said on a previous post it’s on the opposite side of a dual carriageway and between you and the centre you have three supermarkets, Tesco, Consum and Aldi, A Chinese Market, a chino Clothes shop, As well as In and Out Furniture you have Sofaland and JYSK. Two fuel stations as well as numerous other shops and bars in the area. You are also closer to the “noise” of the bars on the Main Street of Quesada than you are to the new Go Kart site.

Hi Jaqueline if you look on the forums pages on this site you will see many recomendations of renting a property in the area first before buying as that way it gives you time to get to know the area & its surroundings & any potentialy good or bad neighbors there are plenty of houses around the area to rent that would allow that to happen & if you rent long term 3 months it will give you plenty of time to look around. Also a lift can be installed in most houses to allow you out onto the roof but you will find in the hieght of summer most people are wanting in to the shade to get away from the searing heat, This is only May & ive had to go indoors to cool down already or jump in the pool as some days its already up in the 30s+.
