UK Satellite TV Recommendations

Hi Everyone - We need a new Satellite TV provider and are currently with Torresat. We have experience non stop problems with the reception and constant scrambled channels mainly Channel 4 and 5. We call them to get an engineer out but they don't even bother getting back to us. I think we need to look into a better option and are currently paying 23 Euros per month. Could anyone recommend a service they have experience of?

Do you have a satellite dish installed? Are you wanting just free to air channels? or subscriptions channels like Sky Sports & movies etc? Do you have a good internet speed?

Unless you need the pay per view channels such as Sky Sports, Discovery and Dave then just go for a Freesat box and a decent dish. No ongoing cost once you've had the dish installed and bought a Freesat box.

I agree with Pete. We use a 1.9 mtr. diameter dish, with four lnb's and Humax Freesat boxes with recorders. Never had any problems. Phil
