Because there are many on here (probably the majority) who have holiday homes in Spain with their main homes in UK. Also decisions made by UK will affect the vast majority who have moved to Spain in terms of the exchange rate, healthcare, freedom of movement, inheritance tax and many other things. There were also very many (who were allowed to) who did register to vote despite living in Spain.
However, much as I disagree with it, the UK has voted to leave the EU. It will happen and the main politicians are adamant on that. It is now time to accept it and make the very best deal for both UK and the millions of UK citizens living in other EU countries.
I think it is very valid for this subject to be mentioned on here but calling for another referendum is a bit silly. It'll simply enforce the view that the government will keep asking the question until they get the answer it wants.
