we want to stop the movement of terror and migrants simple as.
Well I think you'll be disappointed then. "Terror" would appear to be homegrown as "Adrian" from Kent proved the other day. I'm pretty certain that there's not been a single terrorist incident committed as a result of EU border policy in this country. Oh, Sorry, there were a lot. Ireland and the IRA. Forgot about them. But we're still keeping an open border Ireland aren't we.
As for general migration from the EU, well the country needs it. The NHS, for one, would collapse otherwise, Perhaps you would prefer that the immigrants that we need to keep our economy afloat come from somewhere else? The Commonwealth? Pakistan? Bangladesh? Nigeria?

Well Garysl, I do think that you are making quite a lot of assumptions here .who said that we are keeping open borders with the Republic of Ireland. "Adrian" from Kent it would appear had been radicalised....who did that? Doris from Davenport??The EU border policy ,which doesn't effect us as much as some, would like us to admit anyone ...I for one dont see that as a good idea,I think we need to be selective, the NHS has always relied on foreign staff, if they get their act together and start getting money back from EU countries [as Spain does] they may be able to make revenue and afford to pay a decent wage and attract British people. And for me and this is only a personal thing ...yes ..I would much prefer our Commonwealth Brothers and Sisters...they were there to help us when we needed them most. when you mention Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria...I assume you think that they are less worthy because of the colour of their skin....are you a closet racist??????

[quote][/.I assume you think that they are less worthy because of the colour of their skin....are you a closet racist??????] No, but I think you are. And not even closet. You were the one that was going on about Turkey joining the EU, prior to the referendum. All those Muslims coming over here. That terrifed you didn't it. Yet you're quite happy for Muslims to come over from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nigeria.Pull the other one.

So we ditch the EU and replace it with Commonwealth countries. Will you have open borders with the commonwealth? Just what happens to these foreign staff when they want to bring their families over? What happens when the job is suddenly not required. Have you discussed this with the rest of the Brexit lot? I suspect they might not be keen.
