What an entertaining and informative post this is. I think they should have the referendum. Why not? It's technically another Country isn't it? So if the vote sways to leave the uk then leave! Like Brexit. Easy.

The referendum came out as stay, why is there a case for a repeat. Why not have a second Brexit vote, the situation changed after the result, all the leave lies came out. What's the difference?

Came across this today it might aid your understanding

True story: Today’s “tough” question from a female work colleague who is a very vocal unionist.

“Why is Nicola so ignorant that she thinks she can tell Theresa May she’s wrong, and not just go along with her plan to make the best of Brexit”

Ok, I said assuming you and I were in a long relationship and I decided I’d had enough of working here and was going to leave and told you, you’re coming too. What would you say?

As she said “but I love my job and don’t want to leave” the words stuck in her throat; then she said “but if we were partners you wouldn’t/couldn’t force me to leave” again the penny dropped.

Then she said “but that’s different Scotland’s a Junior partner” So I said what would you say if I said, you’re leaving with me because you’re the junior partner?

To which she said, “I’d say get stuffed I’d like a divorce”

I simply replied “well now you agree with Nicola”

As I said so they reckon Brexit results means they are entitled to another referendum, surely there should be another brexit vote as all the lies have been discovered so that means it was void. Can't have it both ways.

So what do we do?

Continue having referendums until the vote goes the way the originally-defeated want?

Surely that'd be like the way children play games..."I lost, so it's best of 3. Now I'm 2-0 down, so it's best of 5...best of 7..."...ad infinitum...

Then again, behaving like children seems to be "the way" nowadays, unfortunately.

:(

I did. Whichever way you read the situation, Scotland voted to stay in the UK. UK voted to leave EU and that includes Scotland.
