Maybe MPs are voting for what they consider the best for the country.....?

Maybe the average voter is not au fait with the macro-economic and geopolitical position of the UK on the world stage at the present time. Perhaps the MPs have some deeper understanding..

Perhaps..

....and as Winston Churchill once said...

"The first duty of a member of Parliament is to do what he thinks in his faithful and disinterested judgement is right and necessary for the honour and safety of Great Britain. His second duty is to his constituents, of whom he is the representative but not the delegate"

.

Then no point asking the people, if you know better....

Hmmm.. I did not say that...not at all...

Perhaps this is the problem... many leavers did not read the information correctly..

I don't know if anyone has had the same email as me, but the government are not responding to the petition.
It looks like we don't count and the government do what they want.

Parliament is to debate the petition on the 1st of April, how ironic !!

If by not responding you mean they’re not going to act on it then of course they’re not
The only people who have signed the petition are remainers as opposed to the referendum which was voted on by both sides
The government have stated, correctly, that they’re acting, political infighting allowing, on the result and brexit must happen
