To be honest, I'm the wrong person to ask....I'm a out and out optimist . I really think that no-one, not even the so-called experts know. But look at all the other countries in the world, they all manage. We may have to adjust to some unwelcome tariffs and maybe some different procedures but we will all be ok, the world isn't going to end.

Obviously you are quite happy Tony-Tri and can afford to lose over €200 in every thousand. I know I can’t and Brexit is totally responsible.

Interesting thread, I truly believe business will find a way- and the uk economy landscape may change-(as it did after the miners strikes etc).but will prevail.
I believe for the general population change is seen as a threat and uncertainty as dangererous,rather than exciting and progressive,which Brexit will be.

Referring to Boris's actions as undemocratic is surely untruer or it would not be allowed in law,and as I understand it he has not been arrested.I think he has a game plan to deliver the mandate and this is part of it.
We have procrastinated for 3 years and May has flip flopped her way through a maze of trials and tribulations in a short time as PM without the fortitude to deliver a strong message to Brussels...Boris is now delivering that message..

I wish I could afford to lose €200 in every 1000, but unfortunately I'm not yet eligible for state pension and I live on a tiny private pension plus my council widow's pension and a little bit in savings. Fortunately I don't believe it's all doom and gloom - as I said I'm an optimist.

Good old Boris has been sacked twice for lying. He has been recorded having a conversation conspiring with another person to have a journalist beaten up. Boris isn't even called Boris by his mates. They call him Al. Boris is his persona, adopted to make him more palatable to the general public. The hair and the bumbling and the latin quotes are all part of that persona. We don't actually know who the real Boris is.
