Packages from the UK

I have a package purchased from Amazon.co.uk that was shipped out two days ago on January 29 but won’t arrive until next week. (Cheapskate and opted for free shipping and shipped with Hermes parcel service) How will Brexit affect the customs procedure? Will the package be considered as within EU and sort of bypass customs or will it be subject to same procedure as a package from China or the USA? Kind of strange grey area as it was shipped out as within EU but arrives (from what I understand) from outside EU. If anyone knows any info would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing will change until the 31st December. UK will still be a part of the EU for customs controls during the transition period.
