Yerrrsssss.
And those owning second homes in UK to be exempt council tax?
Those of us paying tax to HMRC on certain pensions to be exempt?
How about we mark all the houses for those not living here with a big red cross. Then the police can ignore it if someone reports intruders and the fire brigade can go somewhere else if it burns down. After all, you wouldn't be paying taxes to pay for them.
Any roads with more than 5 red crosses can have the road only maintained to a percentage of the time you actually pay your taxes and, when you do come to Spain, you can only use the B roads since you are only paying a small amount to maintain all those other roads day after day.
I suppose we could double the tax on those renting their homes in Spain out to make up for the shortfall in taxes to pay for the bins to be emptied and so on.
You pay for internet when you're not here? Maybe you should contact one of the many switch on/off companies.
Retainer?
To get away from the realms of fantasy, I think we should wait until a few more details are known.
After all, people seem to be getting mixed up with the Spanish promises on a no deal Brexit. Now we have a deal, pretty sure lots more will change, as they will throughout the transition period.
