NI residents and EHIC for visiting EU

Looks like good news for NI residents who holiday in Spain (or anywhere else in EU). Apparently the Irish government is willing to pick up the EHIC tab for NI residents on holiday in EU. See newspaper report here.

Since there in now a border down the Irish Sea much to the DUP's anger, NI is a part of the EU for those that want it. an Irish passport is all that is required, Problems currently are covid19 related that the Gard's will turn you back as there is Lockdown between counties, only route to Dublin Airport is via London
