Please answer the questions on your For Sale posts and answer any messages you may get. It's impolite to.ignore members who are interested in your item.

Also we would like to remind those who are placing Items for sale to click the note at the bottom that says "Click here to receive an email when someone replies to your post above".

We have noticed that a number of replies on 'for sale' item topics are going unanswered. This is not only impolite to those making enquiries but also frustrating for them.

We understand that sometimes those selling items may use private messaging to talk to a prospective buyer - This is quite acceptable but please remember there may be others waiting to know what is happening with your item and please let them know on the forum.

Think about how you would like to be treated . Don't just post and forget to answer those members who are interested in your item and if it's Sold let everyone know by editing the subject/Title box.

Also, could sellers and, for that matter want ads too, please add the item in the title.

I for one do not open messages that just say 'For Sale' or, 'Wanted'.

We do try to help by editing sometimes these items to include the item description but it's a fast moving forum and obviously many of these fall by the wayside. I can't understand why anyone write just "For Sale" or "Wanted" on an item. I guess they miss many potential buyers this way - If this was not my forum I would not open these topics either.

Reminder!

Reminder...We have hundreds of items for sale topics that have just been left there. When an item is Sold edit your topic to tell people that it's Sold.

We offer a free selling service please dont just post, sell, take the money and run!!

It isn't fair to take advantage of our forum like that. It also isn't fair on our members who have to trawl through these items, a good many of which may already be sold.

Think about others please!!!
