We allow free adverts for Items for sale and all we ask is that members write SOLD in the titles when the items are SOLD.

It is difficult for prospective buyers if members just put Sold at the end or beginning of the topic, because it means that they have to waste time clicking into a topic to see if it is still for sale.

If SOLD is written in the title (subject box) of the topic it is so much easier for everyone to see that an item is not for sale any longer and allows us to remove them when we get time.

PLEASE GO THROUGH YOUR ITEMS FOR SALE POSTS AND DO THIS - IT'S ONLY POLITE AND HELPS EVERYONE.

IF YOU ARE SELLING ,YOU MAKE MONEY - SO HELP OTHERS (AND US) - IT'S ALL WE ASK YOU TO DO!

Write SOLD IN THE TITLE Pleeeeease!

We hope you enjoy selling your items for free but very soon we will have to review that option as there are still many members who are not writing SOLD in the title.

WRITE SOLD IN THE TITLE** of your for sale topic (not at the bottom of your topic as a reply)- That is not helpful.

**Click Edit and write SOLD in the title box and then click submit...easy peasy.

Help save everyones time and ours. We can't remove these out of date topics if we do not see Sold in the titles of the many for sale topics in the list.

Just had an email asking how to put Sold on for sale items. Here's a bit of help:

1. Just go into your for sale topic and on the first post of your topic click edit

2. Then write Sold in the subject/ title box

3. and then click Submit

Kindly go through all your items for sale posts and mark in the subject box the ones that are sold.

Soon we may decide to not have a free for sale section any more if this continues.

Don't post, sell and run ! It isn't fair on our members wasting their time answering these Sold posts!!!

Spot on Jan. And pictures of everything for sale, and prices, this is not an auction site.

All sold item's without Sold in the subject box will stay on the forum meaning the seller may be bothered by queries until it is removed and we will not remove items unless we know that they are Sold and we can see in the title /subject box that it is Sold.

Admin cannot spend valuable time going through the for sale topics and opening them up to see if they are sold.

Edit your first post to put Sold in subject box !
