I've seen these Tapas Trails mentioned a few times - sorry for my ignorance but what exactly are they and how do they work?
I'm all for exploring the local areas and sampling new things but being on the shy side doesn't help :geek:
Look forward to your replies

Hi you get a leaflet from a participating bar/restaurant or the town hall sometimes have them.

The bars participating usually have a sign outside.

On the leaflet it tells you the name of all participating with what tapas is being offered also a map of the area and location of each place, the price is the same at all participating, a tapa and drink is include in the price wine/beer water etc. On the form you can nominate your favourite and possibly win a prize it is great fun going round especially if you go with a few friends you must try it.

This morning I had an email about the Rojales tapas route from Eurotourguide.
Looks like some bars are not actually in Rojales itself as I'd have expected seeing as there's only ten participating &, disappointingly, it's only Friday, Saturday & Sunday this weekend.

Hi it is normally only Friday Saturday & Sunday I have not seen the list yet, not had time to pick one up Quesada is an area of Rojales that is why they are normally widespread. I did it last year and it was worth the effort I went on the bike great fun. :D ;)

Thanks for alerting me to this thread, Jan. I did look in the Things to do section, didn't see this! That's because it was in the Fiestas, parades one, I didn't look further. Never mind, the thread needed bumping! :text-lol:

Pity they don't say what tapas they're offering, we are still doing the Guardamar route & their leaflet shows photos of each dish.

Thanks - It did need bumping and you've also alerted me to copy each latest topic in the Fiestas forum into the Things to do forum as well - That way there's less chance they will be missed.
