Ryanair

I have been back and forth to the UK quite a lot over the last few months.
I have used Ryanair and have found them to be far more customer friendly than they were a couple of years ago. So well done Ryanair.
However, what I have noticed is, with the more relaxed attitude on Ryanair´s part, an increase in people who are starting to stretch the limits on carry on baggage. It is noticeable how many passengers are boarding with a conforming bag along with a backpack that is at least the same size and far too big to be stowed under a seat.
This results in more and more people scrabbling around for space in the overhead lockers.
Ryanair will undoubtedly be forced to address this problem. I just think it is a shame that some people think that rules are only written for other people. Hopefully Ryanair will get after the pee takers.

Totally agree, its great that ladies are allowed a handbag but I see handbags as big as a carry on bag, ad you say they will soon stop this relaxed customer friendliness if people keep doing this

Don't forget that you can always ask the desk if they would like to put your carry on into the hold FOR FREE.

Yes, that,s the bit I hate....getting my case safely into the overhead locker before all spaces taken up by others with their extra bags.

Ryanair should enforce the rules more ....only one proper size case or bag and only normal ladies handbags.

But I like the fact Ryanair flights don,t have reclining seats.

How annoying are those people who recline at first opportunity, and bugger the person behind who can,t read his paper due to limited space!

Air travel is really great ...it,s people who spoil it, and usually Brits!

Martin do you mean before you go through the scanner you can put your small hand luggage suit case through. If so this would be great as you could bring liquids back if need be

Yes you could but this is something that has also been abused so now the answer will invariably be no, unless you wish to pay. If you or your partner already have a checked bag, they will allow you to check in your cabin baggage free, if you wish but if you just drift up with a bag full of liquids and want to check it in FOC, you will be disappointed and be faced with paying to check the baggage or alternatively, throwing your liquids away. Be careful.
