Does anyone know if it is possible to buy pet insurance in Spain ? We need to get cover for our dog for when we visit our house on orihuela cosram.thanks

I actually need a spanish based policy for when we are in Spain. The dog already has uk insurance but none cover care/treatment while abroad. Can you direct me ? thanks

Hello Kim, except in few cases such as travel insurance, spanish registered insurance companies use to apply annual policy duration terms according to spanish insurance law, same happens on pet insurance. However, a yearly pet insurance starts from around €75 for your information and covers public liability & and vet fees in case of accident amongst other benefits, e.g. buriel costs in case of accidental death, theft, stay at kennel due to hospitalization of the owner or expenses to find the dog in case of loss). Vet fees in case of any illness can be insured too as an optional cover.
