Hi has anyone flown from Liverpool to Alicante with Blue air having a dog with them in the cabin. Thanks

UK doesn't allow pets to travel in aircraft cabins. Some allow them in the cargo hold but don't know about this one.

Dogs in the cabin, whatever next, only dogs for the blind hopefully.

No, Blue air allow dogs in cabin under 6kg. The dog has to be in an appropriate aircraft carrier under regulations.

Please only reply if you have the answer to my question. I know some people would hate the thought of having a tiny dog in the cabin nice and secure. Best check with your airline before you fly is this is a pet hate of yours.

This is from the Blue Air website I'm afraid Important: Great Britain makes an exception and does not allow pets on any inbound or outbound flights.

That's absolutely correct. UK airlines do not. Blue air is Romanian as does allow pets. I've booked my dog on the flight and have a friend going soon with her dog. I just needed information from someone who may have used them already.

Only on flights that do no originate or terminate in the UK. It's not the airline rules, it's the UK and DEFRA rules.
If you check out their website it will tell you that.
So does the DEFRA site so I think I was replying to your question:
Only certain airlines are permitted to carry dogs, cats and ferrets into the UK under the Pet Travel Scheme and none of them are permitted to bring in animals within the aircraft cabin. The exception to this rule is if you are travelling with an Assistance Dog.

I think you'd better check with them about them having taken your booking for travelling with a dog in the cabin. It's quite common in Europe to see them on planes but a definite no-no from or to UK.

As I said we have the flight booked and with dog in the cabin as stated on our confirmation. Unfortunately I can not copy and paste to here to show you.
