The Bank of England, Mark Carney and the MPC run things in the interest of the nation, not on behalf of expats. Stop bleating, the pounds historic all time low against the €uro was recorded well before any referendum was thought of, not after the referendum.

Are you seriously saying brandyboy that the decline in the pound - euro exchange rate has nothing to do with the Brexit vote and the uncertainty that goes with it?

in 2011 the pound was almost at parity with the euro, cannot blame brexit for that

Shirleynot, What I´m saying is the Pound fluctuates, quantifying the fluctuations is a difficult science(?), beyond most of us and many so called experts.
If you live abroad you live with the variation in exchange rates.
Here´s a historic chart of the Pound/Euro exchange rate, perhaps, since you´re so sure about the effects of the referendum, you could apportion the blame for the times it has fallen below the low following that vote?
