Just bear in mind if its over 100,000 each banks guarantee is only for that amount so spread it about and make sure they are not connected in a partnership or the total for the two may be 100,000!

Try your Bank first. We got good rates investing over 2 and 5 years Guaranteed. They suggested different plans. Hope you've got a good Bank with helpful staff. Couldn't fault BBVA in Torrevieja. Never changed to a local one.

as it so happens ive been into this subject.

First the UK has a cosy little tax agreemtn with Spain so you cant avoid tax bu moving money about.

In the uk, you dont pay CGT on the sale of you primary residence, but you do on the sale of other properties.

In Spain, you only pay CGT on it if you dont use the money from such a sale within 6 months of getting it, if you are resident status. Ive had several different views on this, this seems tobe athe concensus, and ive even asked several spanish solicitors.

SABADELL garantia extra 32 ,fl ………… sabadel seem to be promoting this at the moment ,capital guaranted , think its based round euro stocks on a 6 year term ,you would have to make your own inquiries ,to be sure.
