Looking for advice to get rid of condensation. Don’t know if it’s the metal frames on the windows causing it. We’re Using aircon heating and the house is warm enough. Is a dehumidifier the only answer? Very grateful for any advice.

Your air con unit will have a dehumidify setting. When used it circulates the air and takes the moisture out before putting it back into the room! Try it! Also closing the blinds at night we find helps keep it at bay. its the warm air hitting the cold windows combined with moisture in the building I guess.

The condensation is caused because the big difference of temperature between the metal and the air in the room. The problem is that your metal frame doesnt have a way to break the cold from outsite.

There is better frames with "rutrura de puente termico" that helps with that.

If you only have humity on the frame I would make nothing since the

dehumidifier would need to take a lot of humity from your air (that is not healty for you), ask the doctor in any case.
