Spotted this spider when I was out today. Does anyone know what kind it is?

Yes,I think you could be right. It was quite big, wouldn't want to find one in my house!

I don´t think they bite..


But if one fell down the back of my neck, it would not do a lot for my underpants..

All spiders bite but big ones bite harder

It looks just like a St Andrew’s cross spider (saw it picture on bbc news photo competition) but I think they are only found in Australia
