These are fairly common and In Spanish, it is known as araña tigre, or "tiger spider",

It preys on flies, mosquitoes, bees, horse-flies, and other insects.
It has been declared by several studies of Chilean Universities to be "innocuous to human beings". There are no clinical records of attacks on humans.
(Info from this wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scytodes_globula)
Whilst all spiders bite, they only bite humans if they feel they are under attack.
Larger spiders have blunter teeth which they use to crush their prey, so if a tarantula decided it had to attack you, it is unlikely it'd break the skin.

It’s very pretty and if it eats mosquitos it’s my friend! Thanks for sharing.
