Hi guys, I read somewhere that a footpath or cycle path was being made from Quesada to Benijofar....is this right?

It's only going as far as atalaya Park as this comes under Benijofar Town Hall.

It's still great, a proper path on that bit of road between Mercadona and Benijofar village- people were taking their lives in their hands walking along the edge of that very busy road. From mercadona into Quesada already had a pedestrian pathway, so this essentially joins them up. Will take pics next time I walk up that way and post them for people to see.

That would be great Shiva, we often walk round the back way and although it's a nice walk it does take ages.

Got some pics when out walking today. The pavement is nearly finished as you can see, the cycle path not yet. But lovely wide pavement with street lights. It starts at the Mercadona roundabout and runs into Benjofar. So we now have a safe walking route between Quesada and Benijofar without having to go up the back streets/ through the scrubland etc.
