Can anybody recommend a mobile phone provider, as I wish to change to a Spanish number. Pay as you go preferably as I only use my phone two or three times a month. Lobster costs 12€ a month. I presently have UK pay as you go, which costs me about £20 a year. Thanks for any ideas or recommendations

Simyo. €5. per month. 20 minutes and 7gb. Plenty for me cos everywhere has wi-fi. Runs on orange 4g. Fonefix will advise you but I’ve forgotten their address.

Spain doesn't seem to have pay as you go as we know it in uk. I enquired a few weeks ago and that was impression I got.

We have PAYG with Hits but we started that a few years ago and am assuming we only get it because we have had it a while.

We have used PAYG for 10 years here with no problem, had Vodafone and now orange. We don’t need internet on phone as we usually just use shops WiFi if needed or 4G.
On my UK sim it’s with 02 and I only activate the number every 3 months at the moment.

Lebara sim only. €5 for the sim with €5 credit on it. Topup easy when required.

We got ours from the computer shop in Quesada (nr Mulberry restaurant). You'll need some ID as the sim needs to be registered before use.

I've used Hits Mobile for years.No problems.

My home internet provider offers a free mobile plan. May be worth checking if yours does the same.

Thanks everybody. Am now sorted got Lebara PAYG SIM card from Quesada Computers, which will suit my needs.
