Growing peppers

My wife is growing peppers for the first time, however they are being eaten by some bug, photos attached. What and how do we resolve this situation.

They look rotten more than bitten by a bug, maybe too much water? Show picture to gardening centre

It looks very much like blossom end rot to me. It's caused by a lack of calcium. Google it and you'll get plenty of suggested remedies.

if its the calcium part then break up a load of eggshells and mix them into the soil they provide calcium and postasium to the soil but in the pets shop in montesinos mascotas grima next to talleres villa on the new roundabout on your way in they sell also some fertilizers and non toxic sprays and powders for plants for bugs
