Hi all

Is there a green waste collection in quesada we have seen green bags left at the bins and wondered if we buy the bags will they be collected

Garden waste needs to be disposed of at the recycling centre which is just up from the Quesada water park. You need a permit from the municipal town centre (or Rojales town hall) to show you are resident in the area. The permit is free and is to stop gardeners from other municipalities from filling the bins up.

Those ones left by the bins shouldn't be and often stay there (rotting away) for weeks at a time until someone comes along and collects them.

Are non resident property owners allowed bring green waste and general waste to the recycling centre at the aqua park

I am not on the Padron as I believe we are not entitled to be
We also do not have SIP cards
We are regular visitors who need to dispose of waste every now and then

I believe the municipal town hall just requires a passport and proof of ownership. Used to be on the padron but,as this has been discussed on here many times, others have said they no longer require that.
